The Commonwealth Games 2014:- The 20th Commonwealth Games is going to organize in Glasgow city of Scotland from 23 July to 3 August 2014 with 4,100 competing athletes. 71 Nations are participated in Commonwealth Games 2014.

First Commonwealth Games was held in 1930 and it has taken place every four years ever since, but in 1942 and 1946 it was canceled due to the second World War.
The Commonwealth Games are the third largest multi sport event after the Olympic Games and the Asian Games. These Games are Organized by Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF), which controls the sporting pro gramme and activities and selects the host cities for the each addition. the first Commonwealth Games were organized in Hamilton of Canada from 16 Aug to 23 Aug. and The the 20th will be organized in Glasgow in this year July 2014 . OPENING CEREMONY
Opening Ceremony of the Games will be held in Celtic Park on 23 July 2014.
Entry gates will open at 17.30. Spectators are reminded that they should allow extra time to enter the venue as security checks for all spectators will take place upon entry, and please ensure that you’re seated by 20.00.Celtic Park will have two main entrances for the Opening Ceremony – East and West entrance. Please check your ticket to confirm which entrance you will be using, signage will point you in the right direction.
